FoxNews and the Agenda

1. Fox News dedicated 3% of their coverage to the Central American caravan.
2. On Monday and Tuesday, Fox News and CNN mentioned the caravan 80+, then 40+, times. By Wednesday and Thursday, it was mentioned maybe 80 times total on CNN, Fox News, Fox Business, and MSNBC combined.
3. Fox Business devoted the most coverage to the caravan.
4. The article claims the caravan has reached Mexico City
5. Midterm elections and their results, Jeff Sessions resigning, Trump and the press, the synagogue shooting, and the mail bomb attempts took away coverage from the caravan.
6. Trump said it was an issue in campaigning and created a policy that stems how many people in caravans can apply for asylum.
7.  In the 2016 election, FBI Director Comey announcing the discovery of new emails relating to Hilary Clinton had a similar impact.
8. In 2014, the Ebola crisis had a similar impact.
9. Fox has a widely conservative audience who supports Trump, so it may have covered the caravan more than other networks because coverage was a function of the campaign.
